Tuxedo Clippies are one of our most popular bows.  They get their name from their unique shape. They resemble the type of bow a man would normally wear with a tuxedo.  They are partially lined alligator clips with a small rectangular bow with a ribbon center.  Tuxedo clippies are typically 1.75” in length and 2/3” in width.  They are usually about ¼” smaller than an alligator clip.

Additional Bow Accents & Techniques

Stacked Bows are exactly what they sound like.  By stacking bows together you create larger, more intricate designs. In order to stack bows securely, the bows being used should be made in such a way that the hardware can easily slip under one bow and exit evenly.  Please refer to our step by step directions below for more information about bow stacking.  Spikes are multiple pieces of ribbon that can be attached to the bottom of any existing bow.

Spikes are multiple pieces of ribbon that can be attached to the bottom of any existing bow. Spikes are heat sealed and starched, to create dazzling looking tails.  This simple enhancement can bring new life to an old favorite bow or add an additional color choice to coordinate with a special outfit.

Surround-A-Loops are made using either a single or multiple pieces of small ribbon sewn together to create intricate loops that surround the main bow.  They are heat sealed and starched prior to attachment and then once again after they are attached to retain their form. This creative design can be attached to the bottom of any style of bow.  It is gently placed in position to surround the main bow loops of your favorite style. This extra bit of intricate detail really makes your bow stand out.
